As the founder of Elevate Success™ LLC and creator of the B.O.L.D. Factor™ Coaching Program, she equips women with the tools to own their value, build strong personal brands, and position themselves for executive leadership and business success.

A certified professional coach, trainer, and facilitator, LaShawanda delivers high-impact leadership and professional development programs that transform careers and businesses. She is also a masterful connector of people, businesses, and communities, fostering strategic collaborations that drive success.

As the visionary behind ElevateHER™ Experience and the Grace and Grit ministry, she uplifts women navigating the demands of career, business, and family.

Triniece Matthews, Vice President

Triniece Matthews a bilingual HR leader and Business advocate with over a decade of experience specializing in talent acquisition, employee relations, childcare, finance professional, tax preparer, and organizational development.

With a strong background in both corporate and community-focused roles, Triniece has successfully led teams, streamlined on boarding processes, and championed diversity and inclusion initiatives as well as assisting individuals with personal finances, and helping small businesses with book keeping and operations.

She holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Organizational Development and Urban Planning from the University of New Orleans.

Passionate about people, policy, and purpose, Triniece brings  strategic insight and compassionate leadership to every project—making her a valuable advocate for work force empowerment and community development.

Triniece is a mother to 3 children, 16, 8 and 4 and enjoys every moment of what life has to offer motherhood, relationships and professional development

DeShonda Chatman, Secretary

DeShonda Chatmanis a passionate mental health professional and veteran advocate with over 15 years of experience spanning Human Resources, organizational leadership, and trauma-informed mental health support.

As a former Mental Health Technician with the Department of Veterans Affairs, she provided compassionate in patient care to veterans facing complex psychological challenges. She has also served for more than a decade as an HR Specialist, leveraging empathy, active listening, and counseling-style communication to guide employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational wellness.

Now pursuing licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, DeShonda holds a Masters in Health Psychology and is currently completing her second Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with her practicum underway. Skilled in crisis prevention, de-escalation, conflict mediation, and professional ethics, she is known for creating safe, confidential environments where healing and therapeutic rapport can flourish. Her career reflects a powerful evolution, from systems-level HR leadership to direct, client-centered care, driven by a deep calling to promote resilience, emotional wellness, and ethical practice.

Above all, DeShonda is a proud mother of two athletic sons who inspire her commitment to legacy, healing, and transformational impact in every space she enters.

Joslyn Sutherland, Treasurer

Joslyn Sutherland is a Director in the Finance Transformation practice of EY. Her professional experience includes 18 years serving industry in controllership roles as well as 9 years consulting experience.

Joslyn has led finance transformation initiatives focusing on Operating Model Design, Accounting and Controllership Process Optimization, FP&A Report Improvement and Rationalization, Managed Services and Outsourcing Implementation, and Technology Implementations.

Joslyn’s consulting experience includes transforming finance organizations through strategy and visioning, workforce and finance transformation and performance management, strategic cost reduction, operating model optimization and service/work force transformation.

Prior to EY Joslyn was a consultant with Genpact and Accenture as well as Controller for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Pepper Keurig, and Ascend Chemicals where she worked to build financial impact understanding, financial risk and controls, and performance management/reporting/budgeting/forecasting analysis to ensure strategic planning and organizational growth.

RodRick Moore, Sergeant-At-Arms

RodRick Moore is amission-driven leader, U.S.veteran, and former DuPont executive with 30years of experience leading multilevel teams in high-hazard manufacturing and complex facilities environments. As a site leader, he consistently delivered operational excellence through regulatory compliance, systems thinking, and coaching-based leadership. After taking early retirement, RodRick redirected his expertise toward entrepreneurial and civic ventures aligned with his deeper purpose: advancing equity, well-being, and generational wealth in underserved communities.

He is the co developer and managing member of a family entertainment facility that served as the launchpad for wellness-based programs such as LiveOutLoud for Students, Families, and Women, using play and movement to support mental and emotional health. RodRick also serves as a board member of SheLivesOutLoud, a women-focused leadership initiative and a major component of the upcoming ElevateHer2025Women’sConference. He previously served as Vice President and Board Member of the La Porte Education Foundation, where he supported K–12g rant-making and classroom innovation. Additionally, he coordinates and helps facilitate Faith&Finance at OneChurch@Harvest Point, teaching practical and biblical financial stewardship. His mission includes expanding access to home ownership for veterans and underserved families while developing are generative, mixed-use community inspired by Blue Zone principles—prioritizing sustainable living, food security, and housing accessibility.

Karen Ri’Chard

Karen D. Ri’Chard is a seasoned communications professional and native Houstonian with a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Houston, with an emphasis in public relations. Her extensive career spans teaching, training, mentoring, and service learning a cross nonprofit and for-profit sectors, including significant roles as a program manager and coordinator in legal, insurance, healthcare, and education environments.

As owner and operator of Literally Speaking, Karen brings over 30 years of expertise in creating impactful verbal and written content that supports both business growth and personal development.

Karen is deeply passionate about community engagement, particularly in identifying and addressing health needs and empowering individuals—especially women—to advocate for and improve their own well-being. Her work is driven by a commitment to helping others find their voice and build sustainable solutions. Outside of her professional life, Karen is devoted to her husband, extended family, and lifelong friends. She enjoys exploring her faith, history, art, reading, and traveling to new places. Karen doesn’t just connect the dots—she loves drawing new ones and bringing her own seat to the table.

Saudia Turney

Saudia Turney, LMFT is a licensed mental health professional with over 16 years of experience specializing in stress management, resilience, and holistic well-being. She has worked with individuals, groups, and organizations, bringing a unique, results-driven approach to navigating workplace stress and enhancing professional performance.

As an Advanced SOMA Breathwork facilitator and certified expert in addiction and mental health nutrition, Saudia integrates science-backed techniques with practical strategies to optimize mental clarity, focus, and emotional regulation. Her approach empowers high-performing professionals to reduce burnout, improve productivity, and cultivate sustainable success.

Saudia is passionate about helping leaders and teams reconnect with balance, fostering a workplace culture of well-being, innovation, and engagement. She resides in the greater Houston area with her husband and two daughters

Dekeshiwa White

Dekeshiwa A. White is a proud native of Houston, Texas, and a graduate of Worthing High School. With a deep sense of duty and service, she dedicated 14 years of her life to the United States Navy, where she embraced and lived by the Navy’s core values of honor, courage, and commitment. Her military experience not only shaped her character but also instilled in her a lifelong commitment to excellence, leadership, and resilience.

Following her honorable service, Dekeshiwa pursued a career in healthcare and became a registered nurse. Her passion for caring for others is evident in her professional work and personal life. She combines her nursing expertise with her strong moral compass to provide compassionate and holistic care to her patients.

Family is at the heart of Dekeshiwa’s life. She has been happily married for 20 years and is a devoted mother to five children. Her family is a source of inspiration and strength, motivating her to balance her professional responsibilities with her role as a loving wife and mother.

In addition to her professional and family commitments, Dekeshiwa is deeply involved in her faith community. She is an active member of One Church @ Harvest Point, where she contributes her time and talents in service to others. Her faith guides her daily actions and fuels her desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those around her.
